I've never been, but really want to go! I would love to hear anyone's suggestions about the best places to vist!

i lived in Paris most of my life,and i do miss it sometimes,the South of France is beautiful and very soothing,but if you want to play the tourist,Paris might be the ideal place,you have the Trocadero(i love it)you have the big Arc in La Defense,you have the Louvre Museum,the Champs Elysees that i love too,the Castle of Versailles(the gardens is out of this world),you have of course the Eiffel Tower, and the Arc of Triumph.as for the bread in Paris and the croissant very delicious.now i miss Paris,there is so much places to visit there during the summer,and the fashion is insane......

I was in France last month with my good friend. We took a 10 day trip and had lots of fun! 10 days just wasn't enough to see everthing I wanted to see so I am going back at the end of January. We were in Paris and Provence. I loved all the touristy places kty mentioned in Paris, especially the food. Provence was very nice too and the weather was perfect! One thing I don't recommend is taking American Express Travelers checks. They are a pain in the derriere to exchange!! Nobody takes them anymore, so take plenty of cash or credit cards. No matter where you go in France you will have a fabulous time!!
